The images above show William G. Beadles and his wife Eliza Lanham Beadles at their home in Marion Township, Pike County, Indiana.  

William was a resident of Winslow, Pike County, Indiana, when he enlisted in Company H of the 80th Indiana on August 19, 1862.  After the war was over he was mustered out of the Army with most of the other remaining survivors of the 80th on June 22, 1865, at Salisbury, North Carolina.

The photo above was taken circa 1900, well after the American Civil War (1861-1865).  It was provided courtesy of William's Great, Great, Great Grandson Andy Nelson.
