Scott Cantwell Meeker was born and came of age in Indianapolis, Indiana, and now lives in Madison, Wisconsin.  It is his great good fortune to be the husband of author Kathleen A. Ernst and the father of Meghan M. Meeker.  He is the Great Great Grandson of 2 Civil War veterans: 1st Sergeant James F. Cantwell of the 80th Indiana through his Mother Martha Cantwell Meeker; and, Private David W. Larr of the 85th Indiana through his Father David Olan Meeker, Jr.  Scott sells software for a living and does Civil War living history with the 33rd Wisconsin reenacting group as a hobby.  In addition to the 80th Indiana history website, Scott is webmaster for the:
